Michelle Dyer, APRN, PMHNP, is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, but has been a Lake Charles resident for over 30 years. She has been an adult psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2011 and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her education includes a bachelor of science in nursing in 2006 from McNeese State University and a Master of Science in nursing Specializing as an adult psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, also from McNeese State University, graduating with honors, cum laude, in 2010. Michelle was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and was chosen from her graduating class to receive the Outstanding Scholarship In Nursing award in December 2010.

Michelle is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP-SWLA chapter), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).

Michelle has been serving the lake area and surrounding communities to provide quality psychiatric care. She is dedicated to working with clients to develop safe, highly individualized, and evidence-based treatment plans. Michelle has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, which has afforded her expertise in the evaluation and management of a large variety of mental health disorders.

Eric Coleman, APRN, PMHNP-BC Providing Expert Psychiatric Care

Eric Coleman, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide mental health treatment for a large variety of mental health disorders to clients across the lifespan. He became a psychiatric provider to support clients who need assistance with their mental health in order to help them feel more like themselves again. To that end, he works alongside clients to develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and believes in providing healthcare in an authentic, personable manner with unconditional positive regard.

Eric is originally from Longville, LA, but has been a Lake Charles resident for over 20 years. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 from McNeese State University and has over 16 years of nursing experience. He was awarded his Master of Science in Nursing from MSU in 2024, with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner across-the-lifespan concentration. He is a member of the Louisiana Nurse Practitioners Association (LANP) and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).
